Rodd Macklin

Mr. Macklin has over 20 year of experience in the private equity industry, principally as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Macklin’s industry experience includes senior financial roles at: (i) Perseus, L.L.C., formerly a Washington DC- based PE firm that at its peak managed over $1.5 billion of aggregate capital commitments; (ii) NGP Energy Technology Partners, a DC-based PE firm with approximately $500 million in aggregate commitments that invests in the energy and environmental sectors; and (iii) FJ Labs, a NY-based venture capital firm with more than $200M in aggregate commitments that invests primarily in technology-based marketplaces. Mr. Macklin also is a co-founder of and a strategic advisor to Pennington Partners & Co, a Bethesda MD based private strategy and investment firm. Mr. Macklin started his career at Arthur Andersen LLP and also held positions at Legg Mason and American Capital Strategies.

Mr. Macklin is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (active). He holds BS in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
